Uttar Pradesh Prakash Bhawan
On 18 November 2000, in the Agra meeting, it was decided to name the committee as “Shri Sammed Shikharji Vikas Samiti Uttar Pradesh”. The Uttar Pradesh ‘Prakash’ Bhawan constructed by the committee in Shikharji was inaugurated on 20 June 2002 by the late Shri Sahu Ramesh Chandra Ji Jain, President of Bharatvarsiya Digambar Jain Tirthkshetra Committee, in the presence of the Chief Minister of Jharkhand State, Shri Babulal Marandi. The auspicious outcome of Shri Sammed Shikhar Rath Pravartan came before the society in the form of Uttar Pradesh Prakash Bhawan.
In March 2003, a meeting of the committee was held in Ghaziabad, in which, keeping in view the cooperation of the Digambar Jain community of the entire India, it was decided to name the committee as “Shri Sammed Shikharji Vikas Samiti”. Understanding the need of the pilgrims, the committee decided that it is necessary to have a Jain temple in the courtyard. Efforts began and as a result, Shri Ghamandi Lal Jain, Khekra’s family and relatives agreed to build the temple. The temple was built and its Panch Kalyanak Pratishtha was completed from 1 June to 8 June 2006 in the presence of Muni Shri Arjav Sagar Ji. Since then, pilgrims are continuously getting benefited.

SPIRITUAL EXCURSIONS
Heritage of Sameed Shikharji in Jharkhand
Shikharji, also known as Sammed or Sammet Shikharji, is one of the Holiest pilgrimage sites for Jains, in Giridih district, Jharkhand. It is located on Parasnath hill, the highest mountain in the state of Jharkhand. It is the most important Jain Tirtha, for it is the place where twenty of the twenty-four Jain tirthankaras (supreme preachers of Dharma) along with many other monks attained Moksha. It is one of the five principal pilgrimage destinations, along with Girnar, Pawapuri, Champapuri, Dilwara, Palitana and Ashtapad Kailash.
The current structure of temples at Shikharji was rebuilt by Jagat Seth in 1768 CE. However, the idol itself is very old. The Sanskrit inscription at the foot of the image is dated 1678 CE. One of the shrines dates back to the 14th century. Several Śvētāmbara temples were constructed in the 20th century. Pilgrims offer rice, sandal, dhupa, flowers, fruits and diya.
